CAPTURING YOU IN YOUR NATURAL ELEMENT

I was raised to crave the outdoors. To find peace in the silence, and direction in the wind. Adventure is integrated into my soul, and it is something I run to in times of struggle and in celebration.

I began capturing nature through photography as a method of journaling my expeditions. I would invite my friends to come with me, some experienced, and others not so much. As I saw their eyes light up as they discovered the awe of a towering glacial waterfall, I began to capture these moments on camera.

I believe we are designed to feel the most alive and ourselves while experiencing the magnificence of nature. We feel the deepest connection, the calmest peace, and the true joy of companionship and adrenaline. Your photos should give a glimpse into who you really are, what you love, and how you felt at that time.

Sahara Lens merges the experience of a guided expedition with authentic, keepsake images that will transport you back to nature, and back to your epic story.

Q

What is your ideal photoshoot location?

A

You can't do better than an Oregon sunset. Let's meet at golden hour at the base of a mountain where the lush fields touch the rocky hills.

Q

Where does the name Sahara Lens come from?

A

My trusty adventure partner is my Jeep Sahara, Black Betty. She's taken me through it all... the high desert, beach dunes, and mountain backroads.

Q

What do you like to do outside of photography?

A

When I'm not capturing adventurous clients or mountain sunsets, I'm capturing images as a radiology medical imaging technologist. You can also find me hiking, backpacking, and jeeping my way across the country, or throwing some metal in the gym.
